Hi, I'm Natalie, welcome to my counselling practice!

I am a qualified CBT Therapist with a private practice in Ham, Richmond.

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, low mood, overthinking, and self-doubt. Using practical, evidence-based approaches, we’ll work together to understand the patterns keeping you stuck and develop healthier ways to cope, think, and respond. Therapy with me is collaborative, down-to-earth, and tailored to you — helping you feel calmer, more balanced, and better equipped to manage life’s challenges.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and as such work within their ethical framework.

Qualifications & Training

My journey into counselling has been shaped by both personal passion and professional training.

As a registered member of the BACP I am committed to continuing professional development and have had additional training and knowledge in the following: Mindfulness, Mindfulness from a Jungian perspective,  Attachment - adults, children and young people, Exploring the Synergy of Therapeutic Process and 12 Step Recovery and Domestic Violence and Understanding ADHD.

I also regularly complete courses with The Open University with the most recent being 'Working therapeutically with trans (including non-binary) people: what does 'good' look like? '

When I'm not working, I’m mindful of maintaining balance and looking after my own wellbeing — something I believe is essential in being able to support others. I enjoy the simple things — long walks, good conversations, plenty of laughter and winding down with a hot chocolate.

CBT - for practical tools and changing unhelpful thought patterns

Person-centred - for a safe, warm, non judgmental space

Psychodynamic  - to understand how your past shapes your present

Humanistic - to help you grow and reach your full potential

I mix and match these approaches in order to adapt to your personality, needs, and circumstances

How I work

I'm an Integrative therapist which means I draw on different styles of therapy to find what works best for you.  I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach , I blend different approaches together
